Laxman Memorial College of Pharmacy

Conceived as a living landscape of learning, Laxman Memorial College of Pharmacy transforms movement into an architectural experience. The design unfolds through a double-height entrance and exit, creating a generous threshold that welcomes students while giving the building a strong sense of arrival. At its heart, a centrally placed open-air theatre becomes the social soul of the campus—an informal stage for gathering, conversation, performances, and shared moments.

Levels are connected fluidically, allowing movement to flow naturally through the building rather than feeling like a series of isolated floors. Carefully placed open spaces and pause points on each level act as buffers, allowing academic activity to breathe and encouraging spontaneous interaction.

Light, greenery, and openness weave through the architecture, creating moments of calm between movement and learning. Here, circulation becomes connection, open space becomes community, and architecture quietly becomes a part of everyday student life.
